(NOTE: I am almost a month late posting this, quelle horreur! Please forgive – I am desperately trying to catch up!)
With the end of the school year drawing close, we are in the season of concerts and other performances. Last night, Ellie and the whole 2nd grade class performed the four songs they have been working on for months. Laurent was able to attend and got videos of all four songs. I want to point out that this age is probably my favorite for kids choirs, primarily because of the enthusiasm and joy they take in singing together! Get just a little bit older and they get too shy to sing to their full volume, but 8 year olds, man, they know how to belt it out. You can check out the performances on my YouTube channel here:
