Here are five of my favorite links o’ the day:

  1. Jennifer Fulweiler writes – You don’t know how crazy you are until you get a personal shopper. I read it out loud while on the phone with Jeff as he drove to work and laughed myself silly.
  2. And do visit Hallie Lord at Betty Beguiles. I would love to avail myself of her services some day!
  3. Simcha Fischer writes – The Art of Getting Hysterical About Gender. Don’t miss Theresa’s comment, posted 8:09 AM (EDT)!
  4. Quicksilver to Gold waxes eloquent on the subject of Wearing Skirts. I’m not a dresses only gal, for practical reasons, but I do love a good swishy skirt! 🙂

    Great links! I enjoyed reading The Art of Getting Hysterical About Gender and the comment by Teresa. Both were exceptionally good.

    I could have written the statement about being smart enough to know that mankind means girls too. I don’t know how often I have said that the whole movement toward “inclusive language” is insulting in that it implies women are too stupid to know when a statement includes everyone if they are not mentioned directly.

    Our language has certainly lost a lot of its elegance due to the societal mandate to placate an ever increasing variety of whiners!
