A lot of years we have done a photo walk with the family on or the day after New Year’s Day. This year the holiday fell on Sunday, which doesn’t suit as well, so we went with Monday for our family fun day, and headed down to Sun Lakes to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa. They brought a whole mess of pan fish from Minnesota and we got to enjoy the most delicious fish fry. Simple and good, fried fish, cole slaw and roasted herbed potatoes, along with leftover Christmas cookies. Ufda, as they say in my old home state. Everybody needed to get out and move after that meal, so we took the kids over to run around the lake on the greenway. They definitely got their wiggles out, and I got some fun pics!
