Saturday the Heidmann’s gathered in Sun Lakes for the last time before Grandma and Grandpa head back north to their Minnesota home. It was also, sadly, our last family gathering in that beautiful location on the green-way, since the owners of the house are selling it and it will no longer be available to rent. Hard to believe they’ve been able to stay at the same location every winter for – I’m not sure, but something like ten or eleven years! As always, we had a splendid “Family” time, and even Uncle Sam was there (being one of the March Birthdays, and he about to turn 20), and since we see him so rarely, it was particularly joyful for all the cousins. Next fall we will have all kinds of new scenery at our get-togethers, but for now, here are my final shots from this home-away-from-home.
