Jeff’s new abode is finished — but for one or two electrical matters. Tile, paint, can lights, fan, AC, and security door! We just need to mop the floor once more to get all the residue up, and he can move in.

Finished!

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!

22 Feb 2013Is this a “room” or a “suite?” Does he have his own bathroom?

22 Feb 2013We thought about whether we could put in a bathroom, and it would have been ideal, but because the sewer line runs beneath the foundation it would really have been exorbitant to put in additional plumbing. So, it is just one big garage sized room, and I think he’s planning to use some shelving and wardrobes to sort of divide up the space between living room/office and bedroom/sleeping area. It’s a bit over 400sf, so I think it will be plenty roomy for him!

23 Feb 2013Yes, I am really happy we were able to do this – he does love it! Now we just have to buy him some wardrobes – he has no place to put his clothes yet and has to move them in tomorrow!

23 Feb 2013Yes, the remaining things….some area rugs, place for clothes and a window blind will be the finishing touches! Looks great!
