Shooting, March 2014

Saturday morning… the cookstove was outside so it was a bit nippy making breakfast, but that was also the perfect excuse for the kids to run down to the fire pit and build a morning bonfire. As soon as the grands and Jon arrived from their overnight in town at the comfy Day’s Inn, it was time for some fun at the shooting range.  Everyone got plenty of opportunities to obliterate their target, be it paper, cans, or the hanging metal targets. Megan was a good and responsible college student, and spent the morning working on her homework and keeping Junior happy in the cabin.  (Angry Birds on the Kindle may have also helped keep him occupied. 😉 )

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
