- A full day of school in which every child remains focused and diligent for every single moment, filling their minds and hearts with truths for the ages.
- A full day of school in which I, the teacher mom, remain focused and diligent for every single moment, never forgetting the joyful duties at hand and wandering off to facebook land.
- Several loads of laundry are magically finished.
- The kitchen is clean at the end of the day, instead of piled with ominously teetering towers of cookware and dishes.
- The puppy does not attempt to dig a tunnel under the back fence even one time, but decides that staying in the yard is much more fun than an adventure with that Romeo that has been haunting the front yard.
- We all depart for a placid and profitable shopping excursion that does not involve even one whimsical trifle spontaneously tossed into the cart without first carefully calculating the budgetary ramifications.
- We return home to a beautifully clean home, put everything away in it’s proper place immediately, and have time to sit down and play a game together as a family, with no one running off to her or his computer to watch Dr. Who on Netflix or play Minecraft or sit and text their cousins for three hours on end.
- I even manage to crochet two hats and a scarf and read some blogs before retiring at a decent hour.
Yup, sounds like pure fantasy to me. We’ll see how close this comes to reality! 🙂

30 Nov 2012Yes! I would love to see this all develop! Especially the “keeping focused on learning”!

30 Nov 2012Oh my. What a wonderful world that would be, except I would change the crocheting to writing brilliant blog posts. 🙂
