Conversion Stories: Jonathan Jackson

Not long ago, I saw this clip posted on a blog I read, and I think I may even have shared it here – and being a fan of General Hospital many years ago when this young man started his acting career at the age of 11, seeing the way he has grown and matured, especially spiritually, warmed my heart:

Then today, I read this article today entitled Hollywood, Jesus and the Monks of Mount Athos: A Conversation with Actor Jonathan Jackson.  It shows a real depth to his thought and the lengthy study that brought him on a journey from a non-denominational protestant background to Eastern Orthodoxy, and I would encourage you to listen to the podcast below – I found it very edifying.

Listen to this very thoughtful interview as
Jonathan Jackson discusses his recent entry with his wife and three children

into the Eastern Orthodox Church.

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
