There’s nothing easier than making your own
Egg McMuffins…
unless it’s letting your kids make them!


Meg fried the sausage patties…


Laurent fried the eggs…


while the muffins were toasting…

And the finished result was
definitely
better than McD’s.

  1. That’s one of our favorite breakfasts also. Sometimes we do it with bacon also. The kids love it!

    1. Yes, bacon would be good – especially cooked at home. I’m a bacon snob, almost nowhere do they cook bacon the way I like it — completely crisp! 🙂

  2. The girls came in bearing a silver tray with a FABULOUS egg McMuffin this morning…as well as a cup of nicely flavored coffee! What treatment I get! The McMuffin was delicious….great sausage!

    1. The sausage was just the Kroger brand – I found that it was a better price than the Jimmy Dean I first put in my cart, so I switched it out, and it really is good. Always glad when I can buy store brand and save some money!

  3. I’m so jealous. They look delicious! We haven’t made these in a long time but now I think we should make them again very soon.

    1. They are fun and easy, and so tasty!
