LOTR Marathon

Jesse came over last night for a Lord of the Rings movie marathon.
Unfortunately, we did not have ANY popcorn in the house.
Thus, first things first: off to the store I went with Laurent, Jesse and Geneva, and sent them in for popcorn, ice, and a 20-pack of sodas.
Then when we were still popping the popcorn, Jeff walked in the door,
having made a last minute trip over to our side of town
to his pharmacy for some prescription refills before his early morning flight
to Fargo for little Joseph Anton Lewis’ baptism.
He brought a couple of shirts that needed buttons sewn on,
so I took care of that for him, and he
sat down and watched the Fellowship with the kids.
If I hadn’t kicked him out after the hobbits made their escape from the Black Riders
on the Buckleberry Ferry, he would probably have stayed all night
and missed his flight. 😀

They only made it through the fist movie last night,
but were up at 7:30 this morning starting The Two Towers.
I made Blueberry Cinnamon smoothies for them all.
They should be finished by mid afternoon.

After the kids did that Harry Potter marathon last year, watching the first 7 movies in 24 hours, this is a breeze!
