Macro Fun

Macro Fun

While noodling around on the B&H Photo website, I noted that there were these nifty extension tubes that I could get to allow me to get closer to my subject when using my Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L USM macro lens. So I put them on my wish list and went on about my business. My business yesterday included getting out all my gear and organizing it so I understood which lenses were where etc. And in that process, what do you know, I discovered I already have those extension tubes, and have never used them! So I decided to get them out and do a little macro practice with a few vegetables and things I had lying around. Bearing in mind, I am currently adapting EF lenses to use with my R6 camera, as I do not have a fortune to lay out on brand new RF lenses; however, I find that they are working very well – although it does make the whole kit heavier than it would otherwise be.

So here are some shots from yesterday’s Macro Fun.
