What an absolute delight it was to celebrate Alyssa’s 8th birthday this month!
Our spunky, adventuresome girl, always up for something new and different, chose just ice cream for her special treat – no cake! Had to make those candles work quickly! 😀 I also made a fudge sauce from memory – one my mom made years ago. I wondered what it would be like if I used cream instead of canned milk – turns out, ahMAAAAzing is the answer.
Lyss made out pretty well with some cool comic books from godmother Laurent, and a bow, arrows, and target so she can practice archery with big brother Efrain (and dad!).
We thank the Lord for our Lyss-Lyss, and look forward to the joy of seeing her continue to grow!
