Here ya go – pics of our roofless abode — as well as the back yard where our neighbor’s fire encroached a bit and burned our fence, already dead grass, rose bushes, and trampoline — and finally a couple of dramatic cloud pics I caught as we were leaving Del Taco after supper. (Yes I juiced those last two a little, but that’s what Photoshop is for, right?) 🙂

3 Aug 2011Take a close look at the picture of the cinder block wall. See that spiral drawing? One of our kids drew that there. For those of you not from around here, that spiral symbol is an ancient Anasazi symbol often found in petroglyphs (the Anasazi roamed NE Arizona about 800 to 1000 years ago). Whoever drew that symbol picked exactly the correct symbol to sketch – it means “we once lived here”.
