Sight-seeing: Petrified Forest

Sight-seeing: Petrified Forest

Saturday afternoon we wanted to do something special during our last few hours with Grandma and Grandpa.  We decided to drive part of the way home with them via the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert.  It was just so beautiful outside, and we had a great time walking around the trails, walking off-the-trails at the Agate Bridge, and best of all, seeing my favorite site in the Petrified Forest, the Blue Mesa.

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
