Ghetto Catholic

Ghetto Catholic

Finally I can announce the secret, all-consuming project that has been keeping me occupied this week.  My husband, with much encouragement from his family, has begun a blog where he can write about some of the things he has learned in his many years of ministry in the inner city.  His heart for the poor was one of the things that set him apart even back in college, before we were married.  I have learned so much from him over the years, and am so thankful for God’s grace in bringing him into my life.  I’m a very different person – a more compassionate person – than I otherwise would be had we never met.  I invite you to visit him at  Ghetto Catholic.   Please read, join in the discussion, and if you are blessed thereby and inspired to do so, please do share the site with others who might also find it valuable.

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
