Day 2 (part 2)

Day 2 (part 2)

To finish off day two, The Boy made history by actually DOING some laundry (as opposed to merely creating it), and I have the pictures to prove it.

In other news, a box arrived from Amazon.  A few days ago, my beloved husband declared that there were not enough towels in the house.  Actually his words were, “There are never enough towels in this house.”  I am willing to debate that point vigorously, given the opportunity, but at the moment he said it, such discussion was inopportune, so I let it pass.  Not long after that, possibly even the same day, I heard him mention from over at his computer, “Honey, I just helped you.  I ordered some more towels from Amazon.com.”  What a sweetheart, right?  Well. I opened the box, and saw just what my husband means by the word “help.”  <<insert eyeroll here>>

Finally, at supper time we enjoyed some of Jacob’s delicious (albeit sunken) loaf of light oatmeal bread, with stew that Paul made wayyyyy back in the spring, during Lent.  Remember, when Paul makes stew, there are allllllways leftovers, which usually last for the next 6-9 months.  We’re no-where close to finishing them… I think I’m going to have to start making that stew a priority every week.  Fall is coming, and I’m going to want to make something NEW with which to fill the freezer!
