Programming

This is a happy thing…. my husband passing on his passion for programming to his son. Here Jacob is listening intently during his first lesson in Java.

I’m very happy for Jacob to get started with this…. he will have a ton of fun once he learns the basics.  Next up after Java will be, as my husband can attest, a lifetime of learning C++.  He can talk your ear off regarding  the brilliance of Bjarne Stroustrup, the Danish computer scientist who created the programming language, and its vast superiority to all other programming languages. 🙂

I love to hear him talk about his passions – even when I can barely hang on to the edges of what he means by my fingertips.

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
