Piano Lessons

Piano Lessons

Have I mentioned how thrilled I am that one of my children is enthusiastically pursuing piano?

Well, in case I haven’t, I am!

Today we were able to get back on schedule with lessons, which have been postponed for a week or two due to scheduling difficulties as well as illnesses.   Here, Geneva is listening to her teacher, Will, play through a new piece he wants her to learn, Musette in D Major by J.S. Bach.

I got a little “new book thrill” ordering her two Czerny books after we got home:

and this beautiful feline companion kept me warm for most of the hour while I sat on the couch.  I have to admit, cats are very comfy, although they do share more of their hair than I would prefer.

Looking at that face, I now cannot get this song out of my head:

Soft kitty,
Warm kitty,
Little ball of fur.
Happy kitty,
Sleepy kitty,
Purr, purr, purr.

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
