The New Shed – Part One

The New Shed – Part One

This morning, thankfully earlier rather than later, I remembered that I needed to get Jacob up to the orthodontist in north Glendale by 8:45 to get his replacement retainers.  This caused a bit of a pickle since our contractor was due to arrive at 9:00 to begin work on our new shed in the back yard.  I skyped Paul and asked him to call them and have them arrive a little later, but instead he just decided to come home and work from home today to avoid any delays.  So that was fun – we love having him work from home, especially when he puts on his micro-managing-administrator hat! ;-)   Just kidding, we really do wish he could telecommute more often.

The contractor came with one other worker, and by mid-morning we were dumbfounded at the pace they were moving.  By mid-afternoon when they finished for the day, the entire frame was up.  Tomorrow will come the roof and walls!
