Oleanders

Paul reminded me this morning, as we stood in the Lowes garden center, discussing  whether to buy all white oleanders or vary the color scheme: “The inside is yours, the outside is mine.”

That’s been our equitable arrangement from the get go, and with the exception of about a dozen silver shelves, he’s pretty much kept his end of the bargain over the years; and with the rebuilding of the house, I’ve been able to choose absolutely everything from floor to ceiling.  Thus, I stayed out of his “bidness” and I have to say, I think our back yard is going to be very nice.

The little BBQ patio will eventually be shaded with a hedge of 3 oleanders on each side, 2 red and one white, and he also planted a white one in front of each office window.  It will be fun to see how quickly they grow!
