From stockings lovingly stuffed and laid out on the bench with care, to the glittering tree glowing through the night, lighting mounds of wrapped mysteries, to a surprise visit from Malinda, to plates of cookies, lefse, shrimp, and olives, to hymns sung round the living room and holy and familiar words read with reverence and awe, to Christmas pajamas and bowler hats, to a ukulele accompanied original song sung by the talented and very funny Geneva, to an incredible gourmet Filet Mignon dinner, gifted by a loving cousin and cooked to perfection by Jon and JT – our Christmas was over flowing with goodness, love, and gifts galore, reminding us of the greatest gift of all, the Incarnation, God made man.

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
