This whole Christmas holiday break we have been just a bundle of snot and fever and coughing and moaning, and have barely left the house for much of any reason – but today was the last day of vacation for the schoolies, so it just seemed appropriate to take advantage of the beautiful weather that has finally shown up, and get out and breathe the free air!
I picked up a 12-pack of soda, drove through In-&-Out and got burgers for everyone, and we headed over to our little neighborhood park for some fun. I had to stop by the house to pick up my camera, and just as we were backing out and driving away, Paul was pulling up and parking. I phoned him from the park and told him to come meet us, and we had a fabulous family time together. It was a lovely ending to a not so hot vacation, I think!
