September was the month for X-man to turn Eleven! Xavier dislikes the camera; as is not uncommon for autistics, he doesn’t really know what to do with his face. But he consented to allow me a birthday photo-shoot, once I promised he didn’t have to look at the camera if he didn’t want to. I love his expressive face. I love his differences and his quirks. I love his the sincerity of his heart. I love his sensitivity and his truth telling. Xavier is truly a gift and I’m blessed to be his mom.
