Wednesday

So glad we have been able to take the week off.  This house needs so much attention, and we’re finally getting caught up on laundry, which is a monstrous job (as all big families know).

Fun tidbit — our order from Veils by Lily arrived today with beautiful veils in white, ivory, gold, and navy for Laurent, Megan, Lisa and Mother.  They are gorgeous!!

Today was of course my driving day, with three trips up north for PT and theater class, and in the evening choir rehearsal, which was a mad run-through of all the music we’ll be doing for every service for the next four days!  (No, we did not sing everything tonight! lol!)  To cap the day off right, a 10pm trip to the grocery store for milk, ice, and some diet soda for me.

Just a few random pics I found on my camera from the last few days…

  • Geneva helping mom with her standing exercises
  • Where I found Jacob one morning when I woke
  • The kids playing Divinity – the Catholic Catechism board game (or as Jacob says, with arms raised in triumph, “Best board game everrrrr!!”)

Annette Heidmann

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!

  1. Yes…what a delightful time this is….getting our “wardrobe” for the weekend lined up, and preparing for Maundy Thursday service tonight…Good Friday service tomorrow, and all day Saturday! Oh, by the way…loved seeing the pic of the kids and their new board game! What a fun way to learn and remember important Biblical and Church-related facts!
