Cousin Time

Why does it seem like it always takes so long to align our schedules to visit with family? If you’re too busy for family, you’re too busy. That’s my theory. (And I know for a fact that WE are too busy!)

After far too long a hiatus and many failed attempts at making a plan, we finally arranged for Efrain’s cousins, Lamar and Nathan, to come over yesterday to spend the afternoon. All the kids had a great time together, playing outside, using the new chalk set with which the Bolton family blessed us on Saturday, and riding bikes and scooters, as well as plenty of X-box and Minecraft. Xavier found a new BFF in Lamar, as they are the same age and both love video games; and everyone agreed that Nathan and Efrain are basically identical – energy²!

All are eager for a repeat performance so we will definitely make it a priority before the end of the year.
