Low Key

Low Key

Our Independence Day was low key this year. We so often have been up at the ranch over the holiday weekend, but this year we were home – I don’t even remember specifically why, but no matter. We did a low key family celebration, played some Frisbee tag with both kids and the dog, and enjoyed some of Paul’s seriously awesome grilled chicken, a whole lotta deviled eggs, fresh Bing cherries, dill potato salad, baked beans, and too many other treats.

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
