… we had a little walk. The temperatures were crisp, for AZ, and the sky was as blue as blue can be. T’was a perfect day for walking in Old Town Scottsdale.
I had fun with these pics, using one of my Christmas presents (Topaz Labs Lens Effects) for a few of them. One of the themes of the walk appears to have been children playing in fountain water at various points along the way. 🙂 Toward the end of the walk after they had all been getting wet up to their elbows, I was trying to address the wet, soggy sleeves on my little man, turned away for a moment, and when I looked back, Efrain was sucking the water out of his sleeve. I’m still recovering from the heebee-jeebees that gave me… I guess it’s all good for building a stronger immune system? Here’s hoping… We finished off with a walk down the road to the famous Sugar Bowl for a treat – that place is no end of busy during the holiday season (and possibly it’s like that every day, I don’t find myself over there often enough to know); we had a good long wait outside on the sidewalk before a group our size could be seated. But it was definitely memorably tasty once we made it inside.
Anyway, here are scenes from our walk – pop this out to full screen for the best viewing. 🙂
