Farewell

Farewell

It has been an absolutely lovely week of vacation around here during Vicki’s visit. Sleeping in, no school (meaning lots of computer play time for kids), jaunts around town for sight seeing, catching up on Netflix, dinner out and movies almost every night. The high life is good, my friends! Supremely important, however, was spending quality time with my bestie. There’s nothing like a friend you’ve known for over 30 years. I am not nearly as chagrined at the thought that I am old enough to say that, as I am grateful that someone has stuck with me this long! 🙂

Tomorrow will be a fun day in Sun Lakes, celebrating several Heidmann birthdays, and I hope I will get some good pics of the family, and maybe the lakes and some birdies and such. In the meantime, some favorites from this past week – because I really loved the downtown walk:

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!

  1. What a week it has been, eh? I didn’t go on all your walks, obviously, but did enjoy having Vicki here…hearing the laughter…and getting in on some fun meal-times and unreal movies!
