A whole different thing

A whole different thing

Later this week Geneva will be doing some recording, and her teacher thought it would be a good idea for her to try out the piano beforehand, and get a feel for the touch. Our piano at home is a Kawai electric, and it’s very different from “the beast” – as Will calls the Baldwin 9ft grand at the church! So this morning, G, Oma and I went out to St. Thomas Aquinas and she spent about an hour and a half playing through her repertoire and learning how to play that very grand instrument.  This was the first thing that came off her fingers – and it’s utterly different from our piano here at home… such that I fear after this week, she will be utterly spoiled.
