September so far…

September so far…

The last couple of weeks have been fuller than my empty blog would indicate.  A few nuggets I can share:

Spending a Sunday afternoon with our friend Laura and her 10 children after rescuing them when they crashed their van on the way to church — together with our other kids, we had 27 people at our house that Sunday for an impromptu barbecue.  I didn’t even try to take pictures, I just enjoyed spending the time with my friend.  Geneva and the girls took a few pics of themselves though, apparently having fun with makeup:

We have had so much joy in our house with the addition of our little guy, whose new nickname is “Bee-do” — cuz he’s like a little Minion! 😉 (and you wouldn’t beLIEVE how cute he is when he runs around the house yelling “Bee-do-Bee-do-Bee-do!!”).

Yesterday Megan needed to do a photo-shoot for her photography class, so Paul decided why not invite the kids along for the fun.  They went to Rio Salado for a little nature walk, hit a McDonalds, and I’m not sure where else they ended up, but here are the pics they took — none by me, btw – these were from Geneva and Laurent, and I got to participate via the post-processing stage.

And finally today, another typical Sunday at our house with 15 or so kids.  Hot dogs, trampoline, water, computers, even a little Thomas the Train on the TV for the littles.  All kinds of fun with our big, beautiful family.  We are so blessed that God made them all a part of our lives!  Family is not merely blood, folks, take it from me.
