II: 4th of July Weekend — Arrival at Sunset

What an absolutely perfect evening as we arrived at our “home-sweet-home” — the sun was beginning to set and paint the range with firey orange and pink, a stunning view from our cabin looking across the valley that I may have to frame and hang on our wall here at home so we can feast our eyes on the beauty daily.  I treasure each and every moment I can capture during this golden time of day. Sometimes my family grows fondly perturbed by my obsession to snap, snap, snap, but they have great humor, and because they play along with me, the make excellent subjects. 🙂

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
