Rest and Renewal

Here are some scenes from my Saturday morning walk around the grounds here at the Franciscan Renewal Center.  Although there were a few odd, quirky things, like the Labyrinth, and the sayings on the wall of the chapel, I found it relaxing to simply stroll, taking my time, taking pictures, and feeling to particular pressure to hurry up, since I had nowhere I needed to be at any particular time.

The Healing Garden was small but very pretty.

The walk back to my dorm room.

And from another little walk around the back half of the trails before sunset…

A little walking, a little quiet, a little prayer, a little fresh air.  I am *so* doing this again… 🙂
