Pondering

This morning on my PT run with mom, I took both Jacob and Geneva, and had them bring along their science books.  In between pondering the sparkly water, the geese, the turtles on the bank, and the blue heron across the pond (which, since it is situated on Utopia Road, I have dubbed “Turtletopia”), they did get some studying done.

By the time we got home, it was nearly time for a lunch date with my sweetie (I do love his Fridays at home).  Then home for some more school, and some dreaded math.  I did not take Jacob to karate… he was exhausted during school, and I sent him to take a little nap around 3, and he slept so hard, and has been sick for going on 2 weeks, that I figured he really should rest.  He ended up sleeping till 6!

I took the opportunity to go to Wal-Mart – solo, something I almost never do, since I have many willing shopping assistants – and made remarkably good time on my rounds.  Came home, fixed some easy Spanish rice for the family, and watched a few episodes of Leverage, our latest family favorite.

Tomorrow we finish off the MoezArt season with the final performance of Robin Hood.  Hi Ho!

  1. Great pics of that pond! Makes me jealous that I have to be inside workin’ out!

    1. Maybe next time we can go a bit early so you can enjoy some air there before you go work out. Afterward it will probably be too hot for you! 🙂

  2. Annette, what beautiful pictures! I’m so happy you found me as now I’ve found you! Love reading about your daily life and your beautiful children!
