If your house is anything like mine, than you know all about the Pre Company Cleaning Tornado.

Ours was spaced out over the first part of last week, but the moving of furniture and mopping was saved for last (we find this strategy to be prudent for obvious reasons).  Usually this is solely Megan’s domain, but this time, she had a very insistent and determined apprentice clamoring for a chance to grab the mop, and finally, she had no choice but to acquiesce to his demands.  He was in his seventh heaven!!

P.S. I have no idea about the mask… he took it into his head to wear the green mask, and thus was born a new superhero – The Cleaning Bandit! 🙂

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!

  1. That was so fabulous to observe! I have noted previously that nothing seems to make him happier than to have some “work’ to do…something to help with, even if it’s helping steer my walker through the house! It has really emphasized to me how much we need WORK..meaningful work to make us happy in life!
