in Lent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the traditional calendar, on the fifth Sunday of Lent the Passion narrative is read, and all the images and crosses are to be veiled in Catholic churches and homes.\u00a0 Dr. Taylor Marshall explains this practice at his blog, Canterbury Tales, in the article,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.taylormarshall.com\/2013\/03\/why-do-we-veil-crucifixes-and-images-on.html\">Why\u00a0Do We Veil Crucifixes and Images on the 5th Sunday of Lent?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Novus Ordo calendar changed the reading to Palm Sunday, so we will not see this at the cathedral until next week; but we decided to follow the traditional practice here at home.\u00a0 Here are some images
