{"id":8470,"date":"2013-02-01T10:17:25","date_gmt":"2013-02-01T17:17:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nettiesworld.com\/?p=8470"},"modified":"2017-06-28T22:32:13","modified_gmt":"2017-06-29T05:32:13","slug":"in-which-my-rapturous-euphoria-over-commodious-culinary-accoutrements-is-my-downfall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.adoptedjoy.com\/?p=8470","title":{"rendered":"In Which My Rapturous Euphoria Over Commodious Culinary Accoutrements Is My Downfall."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Perhaps it&#8217;s not officially a &#8220;sin&#8221; to delight in voluminous kitchen equipment, but if there was an anonymous group for people addicted to brobdingnagian bake-ware, I might have to sign up.\u00a0 Our bi-weekly shopping trip yesterday was my first opportunity to go back to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/adoptedjoy.com\/?p=8360\">the glorious Costco I had only briefly toured on a previous visit<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 And this time I had a little money to spend judiciously!\u00a0 Oh glory-hallelujah, but what should I choose??\u00a0 The gargantuan metal mixing bowls were sorely tempting, but I disciplined myself, and settled for a few spatulas (to replace the ones Gwinnie stole), a meat tenderizer, and a surprisingly inexpensive full size cookie tray.\u00a0 My grandiose visions of increased baking efficiency were, however, unceremoniously doused with the cold water of reality when I found that this pan is about 1&#8243; too wide to fit in my oven.\u00a0 It seems I will have to bequeath it to Paul &#8211; he suggested using it to catch oil drips in the driveway.\u00a0 Sigh.
