\nThe dark of near-midnight… 53\u00c2\u00b0 according to my google desktop gadget.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I am pondering\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 <\/strong><\/em>
\ntonight’s RCIA class on the sacraments of Confession<\/a> and Anointing of the Sick<\/a>, and how extraordinarily blessed we are to have Fr. Lankeit as our pastor.\u00c2\u00a0 He is a brilliant communicator, but more importantly, he simply radiates holiness and a passion to lead his flock to sainthood.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I am thankful for\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/strong><\/em>
\nmy brother, Jeff, who took the time this evening to pray some of the rosary with\u00c2\u00a0 mother, the children, and me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

From the kitchen\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/em><\/strong>
\nthe delicious scent of pork shoulder stew,
\nwith potatoes,
\ncarrots,
\nonions,
\nred bell pepper,
\ngreen onions,
\nkale,
\ncollard greens,
\nmustard greens,
\ncabbage,
\ncelery,
\nminced garlic,
\n&
\ndiced tomatoes<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I am wearing\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/strong><\/em>
\none of my newer shirts, denim, with a touch of ruffle, and the basic uniform black\u00c2\u00a0 pants with my New Balance walking shoes, which I need to wear consistently again for a while since my feet are reacting to the fancier but less supportive dress shoes I recently acquired with Christmas money.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I am creating\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/strong><\/em>
\nI have plans for several afghans that are on hold until I have yarn money again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am going\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/em><\/strong>
\nto walk in the morning with my lovely little cherubs, which means I can’t dilly about here too much longer…<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am reading\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/em><\/strong>
\nHome Fires<\/a>, if I can ever sit still long enough to start… but what I heard about today\u00c2\u00a0 while listening to an interview with Scott Hahn on Catholic Answers Live<\/a>, and I have now placed at the top of my to-read list, was:<\/p>\n

\nThe refrigerator hum.\u00c2\u00a0 A clackety-clack from my son’s keyboard.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\nMy living room rug is rumpled and I fear death-by-carpet will ensue if I do not find a way to permanently fix it down.\u00c2\u00a0 Various states of disarray, but nothing out of the ordinary.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Find that which has been lost — a prescription has gone missing, an MP3 has gone missing, and I foresee an upending of the house tomorrow in order that at least the first item be found.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
