and Stewing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jacob has been asking me for quite some time if he could help me cook something.\u00a0 I decided Saturday was a perfect day to grant that wish, and while it was a bit of a delayed start, since I wanted to let the girls finish their cleaning before we began messing it up again, and they were ever so slow and &#8211; I wouldn&#8217;t say dawdly so much as preoccupied with giggling and hooliganing until suddenly Paul walked in the door from his morning mass and meeting with the Perpetual Adoration committee, and he was carrying all kinds of grocery bags, and that can only ever mean one thing: He intended to cook something himself!\u00a0 And before I could stake out a claim on counter space, he had set up shop, and, with the help of Geneva, began chopping finished and filled up TWO roasting pans and set them to simmer, Jacob and I could begin our work.\u00a0 Since this was his first time, I wanted to make it special and memorable, and could
