Only ten years ago,
\nI had a 2 year old girl, a 4 year old girl, and a 6 year old girl,
\nand what do you think they did all day long
\nbesides tea parties
\nand reading to each other
\nand smooching their baby brother
\nand cutting each others’ hair?
\nIf you said “Playing dress-up,” you win a prize.
\nGo get yourself a cookie.
\nOn average, each girl could easily go through about 12 changes of clothing per day.
\nTheir floor was constantly knee-deep in frippery.<\/p>\n

The pace has slowed down a trifle,
\nbut there is clearly a genetic quirk that makes them continue to enjoy playing dress-up.\u00c2\u00a0 (Of course,
\ntheir auntie’s gifts of fancy dresses she no longer uses just add fuel to the fire!)
\nAlso, their room is still constantly knee deep in frippery.<\/p>\n

Today Megan started playing with her hair,
\nand once she had the up-do,
\nof course she had to find a dress to go with it.<\/p>\n

Now all we need is a ball to which she can go in her finery.
\nShe says she will not <\/em>go to a ball, because she does not <\/em>know how to dance, and furthermore she does not <\/em>want to dance with any boys.
