Yesterday I was cooking lunch and the metal pan lid that was resting against the side of the pan slipped off and crashed onto my stove-top, shattering it.\u00a0 That was thing one.<\/p>\n
Thing two is something that’s actually been brewing for a while, and we’ve finally decided we have to deal with it.\u00a0 The gorgeous pine tree in our front yard was damaged so badly in the fire last year that it is now finally completely dead.\u00a0 With it’s height, as well as it’s angle leaning over the house, the brittleness of the branches and the danger of high winds, we have to cut it down, and soon.\u00a0 The back yard pine tree fared slightly better, so it will only need to have the dead parts trimmed off.\u00a0 But still it’s going to be a big bill between the trim and taking the front tree down to the ground.<\/p>\n
Then this morning, Megan was so good to get up early and finish her school and then start on chores.\u00a0 She had the dishwasher running before the other kids were even ready to start their school work.\u00a0 Unfortunately, something is amiss with that machine.\u00a0 She knows she did not mistakenly use dish soap instead of dishwasher detergent, so I really can’t imagine why it suddenly erupted in a riot of bubbles.<\/p>\n
