There’s a lull in my day, so I’m sitting down for a wee catch-up.<\/p>\n
Whirl-windy preparations are afoot for the big shindig on Sunday afternoon.\u00a0 We’re having a “bit” of a party for Megan’s 16th, “Golden” birthday – and expect a house-full of fun folks to be helping us celebrate.\u00a0 That meant two shopping trips yesterday, and another one today, and lots of cleaning and dusting and mopping.\u00a0 Thankfully the cooking will be simple (she asked for Little Ceasar’s – can’t complain about that!) so we can focus on the fun!<\/p>\n
We began the celebration a little smidge early by giving her our present last night.\u00a0 Normally we do NOT NOT NOT do early presents.\u00a0 (Well, the Holstons pretty much ALWAYS did early presents, cuz none of us could wait to give them.\u00a0 The Heidmann House rules, however, state that early presents are Right. Out.) However, we knew she would want this particular present\u00a0 on Sunday, is the thing!!<\/p>\n
