Tuesday!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In lieu of an interesting blog post today, please enjoy this gallery of randomness.<\/p>\n<p>First, the sad end to my initial foray into sourdough: Placing the starter in a &#8220;big enough&#8221; jar, continuing to follow the instructions on the sourdough companion website, only to see it die.<\/p>\n<p>A few snaps of Megan enjoying some baby time with Efrain on Sunday.\u00a0 Megan loves babies.\u00a0 A lot.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, a black wasp that I sprayed with bug spray while it was buzzing around the office light fixture, and Geneva took some pictures of, and then smashed with a heavy book, which I then found lying on the floor, picked up, and discovered the remarkably preserved wasp, and took another couple of pictures of.\u00a0 (Sorry next.\u00a0 I <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>will<\/strong><\/span> see this through to a successful starter, or die trying.\u00a0 End of line.)<\/p>\n<p>Also, I&#8217;m beginning to regret watching <em><strong>Fringe<\/strong><\/em> before bed for several nights in a row.\u00a0 The Fringe-iness of my dreams is decidedly un-restful.\u00a0 I will need a nap
