{"id":4662,"date":"2012-06-22T10:29:38","date_gmt":"2012-06-22T17:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nettiesworld.com\/?p=4662"},"modified":"2017-06-28T22:59:03","modified_gmt":"2017-06-29T05:59:03","slug":"lotr-marathon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.adoptedjoy.com\/?p=4662","title":{"rendered":"LOTR Marathon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/adoptedjoy.com\/?attachment_id=4663\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4663\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4663\" style=\"border: 10px solid black;\" title=\"20120621_103518 copy\" src=\"http:\/\/adoptedjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/20120621_103518-copy-450x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Jesse came over last night for a <em><strong>Lord of the Rings<\/strong><\/em> movie marathon.<br \/>\nUnfortunately, we did not have ANY popcorn in the house.<br \/>\nThus, first things first: off to the store I went with Laurent, Jesse and Geneva, and sent them in for popcorn, ice, and a 20-pack of sodas.<br \/>\nThen when we were still popping the popcorn, Jeff walked in the door,<br \/>\nhaving made a last minute trip over to our side of town<br \/>\nto his pharmacy for some prescription refills before his early morning flight<br \/>\nto Fargo for little Joseph Anton Lewis&#8217; baptism.<br \/>\nHe brought a couple of shirts that needed buttons sewn on,<br \/>\nso I took care of that for him, and he<br \/>\nsat down and watched the<em><strong> Fellowship<\/strong><\/em> with the kids.<br \/>\nIf I hadn&#8217;t kicked him out after the hobbits made their escape from the Black Riders<br \/>\non the Buckleberry Ferry, he would probably have stayed all night<br \/>\nand missed his flight. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They only made it through the fist movie last night,<br \/>\nbut were up at 7:30 this morning starting <em><strong>The Two Towers<\/strong><\/em>.<br \/>\nI made Blueberry Cinnamon smoothies for them all.<br \/>\nThey should be finished by mid afternoon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">After the kids did that Harry Potter marathon last year, watching the first 7 movies in 24 hours, this is a breeze!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jesse came over last night for a Lord of the Rings movie marathon.
