For all the posting I’ve done in the last few weeks, you’d think absolutely nothing had happened in Nettie’s World.<\/p>\n

Firstly, my dear littlest daughter, Geneva Melody, had her fourteenth birthday!\u00a0 Unfortunately, the party was held on Friday the 12th, which happened to be the day this virus slammed both me and Megan to the ground and stomped us to near oblivion.\u00a0 Consequently, we were both sent to quarantine in Oma’s room (as far as possible from all the fun and action) for the duration, with occasional visits of mercy from Paul and Laurent, who brought us medicines and beverages.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, I am given to understand that the party, complete with BBQ hosted by Paul (he purchased everything and cooked, while Laurent assisted) was a smashing success.\u00a0 Movies were watched.\u00a0 Gales of laughter were laughed.\u00a0 It was a proper beginning to the 14th year of Geneva.\u00a0 There were even a (very) few photos to commemorate the day, thank you so much to my surrogate photogs!<\/p>\n
