there were a series of &#8220;firsts&#8221; in the Heidmann household.<\/p>\n<p>First, this was <a href=\"http:\/\/adoptedjoy.com\/?p=3757\">our first attempt to re-landscape<\/a> since the fire.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/adoptedjoy.com\/?attachment_id=3766\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3766\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3766\" src=\"http:\/\/adoptedjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/2012-03-10_1688-copy-600x358.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"348\" \/><\/a>So far, so good.\u00a0 That took a good chunk of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Second, today marked the first time Jacob has had a friend over for a sleep-over.\u00a0 He has been talking about having Peter over ever since the Jezek&#8217;s first came to visit, and despite several scheduling conflicts and a slight unexpected delay in their arrival, Peter did in fact make it a bit after 1pm, and the nonstop Star Wars talk began before they even got inside.<\/p>\n<p>By late afternoon they had watched part of Episode 1, stopped because the disc was scratched and watched all of A New Hope and half of Empire Strikes Back before it was time to take a
