It turned out to be, as you might expect, a very dirty weekend, which is just the kind of fun boys like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They hauled water in the trailer (4wd turned out to be perfect for getting that trailer up the hill behind the cabin to fill our water tank).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They went driving in the big sandy wash, and the boys rode in the bed pretty much everywhere they went (except Ruben, who stayed inside the cab with daddy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They visited the cowboy cabin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They climbed Petroglyph Mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dug holes in the dirt hill outside the cabin and rolled in the sand and got so, so messy with s&#8217;mores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These pics were all taken with Paul&#8217;s Google Pixel 2 phone, some by Paul and some by Xavier.
