About a year ago, the girls came home from Youth Group with a form requiring my signature.\u00a0 It was a permission slip for donating hair to Locks for Love<\/a>.\u00a0 They had discussed it and Megan had decided she wanted to go for it.\u00a0 The deal was, no cutting or chemical treatments on the hair for the next year.\u00a0 She already had long hair at the time, so I knew it would be quite a big donation when this December rolled around.\u00a0 We talked about hair styles, and I told her I thought the perfect look for her would be a pixie — so that is what she asked for when she went in today to her after-mass appointment at the Life House.\u00a0 They said “Megan, you are so brave!” \ud83d\ude00\u00a0 Not too many come in and want to have that dramatic a change, but she was sure, and the process was a blast from start to finish.\u00a0 The only tears were from Oma at the first cut — she was very touched by Megan’s generous heart.<\/p>\n
