I was reading an amusing snippet from Brent Stubbs Quick Takes<\/a> this morning, and The Boy wanted to know who I was reading.\u00a0 I described Brent as an apologetics blogger – and he wanted to know what that meant.\u00a0 When I explained that it’s someone who defends the faith online on their blog, he said, “That sounds AWESOME!!\u00a0 I would LOVE to do that!!”\u00a0 \ud83d\ude00\u00a0 Might as well start them young… I’m off to find Laurent’s copy of The Godless Delusion<\/a> and see how he likes it.\u00a0 May the Lord be pleased to raise up a mighty defender of the faith!<\/p>\n

We are still fighting the ants.\u00a0 I must buy and apply copious amounts of anti ant spray today.\u00a0 I am SO ready to get out of this house…<\/p>\n

<\/a>— 3 —<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daughters Number 2 and 3 are taking off with their dad today for another weekender at the ranch.\u00a0 He’s got to finish the task that was interrupted last weekend – filling our water tank – and the girls, having done great work on school this week, are going to join him for some hiking and lots and lots of photography.\u00a0 I am slightly jealous on that score, but deliriously happy that my charger finally arrived in the mail from Amazon, my new battery is charged up, and I’m ready for action!\u00a0 Just need to go find some action…<\/p>\n

I need a Craig’s List primer.\u00a0 Anybody know of such a thing?\u00a0 I am going to want to sell some things once we get them back from storage, and though I’m leery of the Craig’s List way of doing things, lots of people seem to make it work.<\/p>\n

<\/a>— 5 —<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since my bro and SIL have been so impressed with the Theology of the Body<\/a> materials that are being introduced in their daughter’s formation classes at the Cathedral of St. Mary in Fargo<\/a>, I am thinking about finding something to go through here at home with the kids.\u00a0 There is a middle school edition<\/a>, and high school materials that include a DVD series<\/a>, workbook<\/a>, and leader’s guide<\/a>.\u00a0 However, I need an introduction myself!\u00a0 I think maybe the first step should be Theology of the body Explained: A Commentary on John Paul II’s “Man And Woman He Created Them”<\/a> by Christopher West.\u00a0 Here’s a helpful review by Brandon Vogt<\/a>.<\/p>\n
