Xavier dislikes the camera; as is not uncommon for autistics, he doesn&#8217;t really know what to do with his face. But he consented to allow me a birthday photo-shoot, once I promised he didn&#8217;t have to look at the camera if he didn&#8217;t want to. I love his expressive face. I love his differences and his quirks. I love his the sincerity of his heart. I love his sensitivity and his truth telling.
