I was not wrong last week when I surmised that I would be entering a super-abundance of busy this week.
\nIt has been very good, most days, and the dizzyness is subsiding a little.<\/p>\n

~2~<\/p>\n

The younger two had their first youth group adventure this week,
\nand it was a rousing success.
\nGeneva found a new BFF,
\nwho promptly invited her to come over for a Friday night birthday party\/sleepover.
\nJacob sat down at a table full of boys who spent a good portion of the evening scooting their chairs on the tile floor in competition to see who could make the most terrific farting noises, found that there were other boys who knew about Spider Man comics,
\nand decided that every boy he met MUST be ADHD.
\nHe’s never fit in so well anywhere before. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

~3~<\/p>\n

Last night around 9pm we got a call from our neighbor at our “own-own” house
\n(that’s a little phrase that harkens back to when Megan was little and wanted to specify that which was only hers from that which belonged to the community)
\nsaying that there were prowlers at our place.
\nPaul promptly called the police,
\nand took off to meet them there.
\nI indicated my preference, as he walked out the door,
\nthat he not shoot anyone.
\nHe smirked “That’s what the cops are for.”
\nWhen he arrived the police (who were wonderfully prompt) had already arrived
\nand the perps were sitting all in a row on our curb side.
\nIt was ultimately determined that they were not actually perps.
\nThey had simply broken down outside our house.
\nI’m not sure what our neighbor saw,
\nmaybe they were peering in the windows to see if anyone was home that could help them out…
\nin any case, no harm was done and they were released, and we were thankful that
\na) we have great neighbors looking out for our place,
\nand b) there was no break in, because dag-nabit ,
\nwe’ve had enough break-ins already!!<\/p>\n

~4~<\/p>\n

\nI found some fabric that sang to me and sent it to her, and she sent me back these:<\/p>\n

I know it’s not exactly how you would wear them to mass,
\nbut you can also rock these biker style with your hair down, and they look super cool.
\n(If you’ve got the hair for it, I must hasten to add…)<\/p>\n

I have been thinking housey thoughts this week and it showed up in my pinterest boards.\u00a0 As you can see, most of my thoughts are yellow.<\/p>\n
